Dan Boel's poetry collection, Kings of The F**king Sea, follows a thirty-something American male on his adventure to confront his quarter-life crisis. He's bogged down with the 9-5 live to work existence, so he does what any guy in a rut would do and joins a crew of pirates, takes to the sea, and begins a new life of smuggling and facing the everyday perils of the ocean. This book follows him away and home again. In this interview, you'll gain some insight into Dan's inspiration, his craft, and his collaboration with artist Jonathan Marshall.
