Graduate Certificate

Page address: http://english.mnsu.edu/tesol/tesolgradcert.html

The graduate certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) has two tracks. One track prepares students, who are previously licensed K-12 teachers, to work specifically with English learners in the K-12 environment. The second track prepares students for careers in teaching English learners in international contexts, government and non-government organizations, and private enterprises. Additionally, this track will prepare students who teach in higher education settings in the U.S. In that context, it can be added to other Master's degrees to make candidates eligible to teach second language classes.
