Random Facts About Me

  • I'm a Maverick Mentor
  • My favorite author is Tamora Pierce
  • My favorite book is Terrier
  • My favorite book series in Ranger's Apprentice
  • My favorite Shakespearian play is A Midsummer Night's Dream
  • The most engaging and amusing context in which I've seen Shakespearean works employed is during episodes of Star Trek The Next Generation
  • I love reading. My favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy, but I also enjoy non-fiction narratives or histories. I especially enjoy graphic novels for it is part of my dream as an English educator to help kindle and fuel the fires of reading in young students' hearts for literature and that sometimes can't be done with straight text alone. Graphic novels are a genre of literature and have significant educational value as visual literacy
